Dear All,
A very warm welcome, and thank you for visiting our website.
I’m incredibly proud to be the Principal of High Clarence Primary School, a place where children are truly at the heart of everything we do. We are more than just a school—we are a caring, vibrant community where every child is nurtured, supported, and inspired to be the very best version of themselves.
We believe that education has the power to change lives. That’s why we work in close partnership with families, governors, the local community, and external agencies to provide a rich, balanced, and inclusive curriculum. Our dedicated staff create a happy, safe, and stimulating environment where learning is purposeful, celebrated, and full of joy.
At High Clarence, we focus on developing outstanding learning behaviours that help our pupils succeed in whatever they aspire to do. Our core values—happiness, resilience, ambition, respect, and healthiness—guide everything we do and ensure that children begin life on the front foot, confident and ready to embrace the future.
We are also deeply committed to the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of our pupils. Through the teaching of SMSC, we actively promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of different faiths, cultures, and beliefs—including those of no faith. We aim to raise compassionate, responsible citizens who are engaged in their communities and care deeply about others.
In 2023, we proudly joined the Enquire Learning Trust, a partnership built on botheredness—a deep, genuine care for every child, every family, and every member of our school community. This ethos perfectly reflects our own values and strengthens our commitment to excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Together with our academy partners, we are constantly evolving to provide the very best opportunities for our children.
Our future lies in our youth. By nurturing an educated, engaged, and empowered generation, we are helping to shape a brighter tomorrow.
If you’d like to know more about our school, arrange a visit, or share any suggestions to improve our website, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Warmest regards,
Mrs Nicola Caraher
Principal
